Family Seeks Justice for Kwasi Awuah Gorman, Stabbed to Death in Kwahu Tafo

The Kwahu Tafo community and St. Joseph Technical Institute are reeling from the tragic death of 17-year-old final-year student Kwasi Awuah Gorman, fatally stabbed by his friend Stephen, known as “Sugar,” in a dispute reportedly over money.

The incident, which occurred on July 20, 2025, has left Gorman’s family devastated, with his brother Ebenezer and sister Ataa expressing profound grief and demanding swift justice. Ebenezer told Adom News that his nieces witnessed the altercation, describing how Kwasi, among four friends, clutched his neck after being stabbed during the confrontation.

Ataa noted the boys had lived peacefully together, making the motive unclear. The suspect, Stephen, is in police custody, assisting with investigations. Kwasi’s body is at the mortuary awaiting an autopsy for forensic evidence. The community awaits legal outcomes, hoping for closure.
