The family of a Ghanaian law student who died in a suspected hit-and-run accident on the Tema Motorway has offered a GH¢50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and successful prosecution of those responsible.
Ivan Baidoo, a Level 200 law student at Central University and former Quaque House Prefect of Adisadel College’s Santa 2024 year group, was allegedly knocked down by a vehicle on August 27, 2026.
The driver involved is reported to have fled the scene after the incident.
Family Appeals for Information
In a public notice made available to Metro TV, the family appealed to eyewitnesses and members of the public who may have information that could assist the police in identifying the driver.
The family said:
“A reward of GH¢50,000 is being offered for credible information leading to the arrest and successful prosecution of the culprit(s) involved in the fatal accident.”
The family is particularly seeking credible information that could help investigators establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and identify the vehicle and driver involved.

Anyone with information about the incident has been urged to contact the family on +233 20 250 4411.
The family has assured potential informants that all information provided will be treated with the strictest confidentiality.
The appeal comes as the family seeks justice for Ivan Baidoo and assistance in identifying the person responsible for the fatal incident.
