The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) in Ghana will introduce a new online system, DVLA Select, in 2026, allowing vehicle owners to choose and reserve personalized registration numbers.
The platform aims to streamline the registration process and enhance convenience, enabling users to select their preferred numbers online before completing the process at a DVLA office.
Announced on Monday, September 8, the initiative is part of DVLA’s efforts to modernize services and improve transparency.
The authority stated, “This platform will allow clients to reserve their preferred vehicle registration numbers online, making the process more customer-friendly.” Further details on how to access the service will be shared closer to the launch.
The DVLA emphasized its commitment to safety and efficiency, urging the public to stay updated on the upcoming steps for using the new system.
