Dormaa West Hospital to Convert Old Wards into Offices After New Facilities Commissioned

The Dormaa West District Hospital is set to convert its old male and female wards into office spaces following the commissioning of newly constructed and furnished wards.
The Dormaa West District Health Director, Mr Daniel Owusu Amponsah, disclosed this when speaking to the media after the commissioning of the new facilities.
The new male and female wards were officially commissioned by the Member of Parliament for Dormaa West, Hon. Vincent Oppong Asamoah, as part of efforts to improve healthcare infrastructure and service delivery in the district.
According to the Health Director, the hospital will relocate patients and services to the new wards, while the old facilities will be renovated and converted into offices to address the hospital’s administrative needs.
Mr Amponsah also expressed appreciation to Hon. Vincent Oppong Asamoah for supporting the hospital with the ultra-modern facility, describing the intervention as a significant boost to healthcare delivery in the district.
He, however, appealed for more support from government, development partners, individuals and other stakeholders to provide the hospital with additional medical equipment, logistics and other essential resources to enable healthcare workers to deliver quality services to residents.
