Darkovibes Reveals Shatta Wale Appeared in Dream to Advise Him to Focus on Ghana Market

Ghanaian singer Darkovibes has shared a surprising and recurring dream involving Dancehall icon Shatta Wale that has significantly influenced his recent career decisions.

According to Darkovibes, the dream has come to him multiple times over the past two to three years, particularly during periods when he was frequently travelling abroad to promote Ghanaian music.

“Every year around this time, we try to export Ghana music to the world with travelling, but for the past two to three years, I had a dream where Shatta told me I travel too much and that I should stay in the country and focus on pushing my songs locally,” he revealed.

What made the dream even more striking, he explained, was that Shatta Wale had already given him the exact same advice in real life — both in person and through other people.

“I swear on my dead parents, he had already told me in person and even sent the message through other people, so I was shocked when he still came to tell me again in my dream,” Darkovibes said.

Although he has not yet discussed the dream directly with Shatta Wale, he has shared the experience with other industry colleagues.

Since the recurring message, Darkovibes says he has deliberately reduced his international travel and redirected his focus toward entertaining and building a stronger fan base within Ghana first.

“I’ve cut down on travelling and I’m now concentrating on pushing my music locally, entertaining our people here before going back out there,” he added.

He also expressed deep respect and gratitude to industry elders who have guided and supported his growth, stressing the value he places on their mentorship and counsel.

The revelation highlights the strong influence Ghanaian music legends continue to have on younger artistes — sometimes even through symbolic or spiritual experiences.
