Court Proceedings at Prestea Magistrate Court Disrupted Over Bad Roads

Several court proceedings at the Prestea Magistrate Court have reportedly been repeatedly cancelled due to the poor condition of the road network leading to the residence of the presiding magistrate.

According to a report by a court correspondent of Prestea FM, the magistrate has been unable to access the court consistently because of the dilapidated road linking his residence to the court premises.

The situation has allegedly resulted in the continuous postponement of cases, delaying justice delivery and frustrating court users who depend on the facility.

Residents and stakeholders in the area are said to be calling for urgent intervention to improve road infrastructure to ensure smooth access for judicial officers and uninterrupted court sittings.

The disruption has raised broader concerns about how poor road conditions in some communities are affecting essential public services, including the justice system.

Local authorities are yet to officially comment on the matter.
