Bawumia slams NDC mass firings, urges Mahama to focus on job creation

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP flagbearer, is speaking out against the Mahama government for firing workers who were hired by the previous administration.

He thinks it’s unfair and that the government should be focusing on creating more jobs instead of taking them away. In a Facebook post, Dr. Bawumia said that the government’s actions are targeting people who were rightfully employed, and it’s surprising that a government that promised to create jobs is now leaving people unemployed.

He believes that the government should be finding new ways to create jobs, especially during tough economic times. Dr. Bawumia is also concerned that the firings aren’t just limited to political appointees, but also include career professionals like directors, security agents, nurses, and teachers.

He’s calling on President Mahama to reverse the firings and protect jobs, institutions, and democratic governance.
