Asiedu-Nketiah Travels to South Korea for International Political Parties Conference

National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu-Nketiah, has travelled to Seoul, South Korea, to participate in an international conference of political parties.

Mr Asiedu-Nketiah departed Accra on Sunday, September 6, 2026, following an invitation from the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP).

He is expected to participate in the inaugural meeting of the Intercontinental Dialogue Among Political Parties, scheduled to take place in Seoul from September 7 to 9, 2026.

The meeting is expected to bring together political representatives from different parts of the world to engage on issues relating to political cooperation and dialogue.

Azorka to Act as NDC National Chairman

Asiedu-Nketiah is expected to return to Ghana on Saturday, September 12, 2026.

During his absence, NDC National Vice Chairman, Chief Awudu Sofo Azorka, will act as the party’s National Chairman until his return.

The arrangement is intended to ensure continuity in the party’s leadership and activities while the National Chairman is away.
