Adentan Circuit Court Grants Bail to ‘Ebo Noah’ in Flood Prophecy Case

The Adentan Circuit Court has granted bail to Evans Eshun, popularly known as Ebo Noah, in the sum of GH¢100,000 with two sureties, one of whom must be justified with either a landed property or a vehicle.
The case has been adjourned to March 18, 2026, for further hearing, his lawyer, Emmanuel Sarfo, has confirmed.
Eshun, a 33-year-old private security guard, was earlier remanded into police custody on January 2, 2026, and ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation at a government health facility ahead of his next court appearance.
The order for the psychiatric assessment was made when he appeared before Her Honour Angela Attachie, who had initially fixed January 15, 2026, for his reappearance in court.
Prosecutors allege that between August and December 2025, Eshun published a series of videos on Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube under the handle @Ebonoah, in which he claimed that the world would be destroyed by a flood on December 25, 2025.
The matter remains before the court as investigations and legal proceedings continue.
