The General Secretary of the Mortuary Workers Association of Ghana has emphatically stated that an entire society suffers when incompetent leaders govern an uninformed populace.

According to him, a society will always decline in wisdom and become increasingly incompetent under such conditions.

His comments highlight the critical need for effective leadership and a well-informed citizenry to foster societal progress.

Addressing recent disturbing issues of some Ghanaians engaging in disrespectful practices towards corpses laid in state, the General Secretary called for greater respect and proper handling of the deceased.

Speaking on “Ghanaman Nkɔsoɔ,” he emphasized the importance of maintaining dignity in death, just as in life.
