Wesley Grammar School Bus Destroyed by Fire at Kasoa Tollbooth: All Students and Teachers Safe

A school bus from Wesley Grammar School caught fire and burned completely at the Kasoa Tollbooth on Friday, November 28, 2025. All 83 students and five teachers escaped unharmed.

The bus was heading to Ngleshie Amanfro Senior High School for a sports event when smoke started coming from it.

Sports teacher Richard Boafo, who was on the bus, spoke to the  media .

“We told everyone to get out right away. Lucky for us, no one was hurt. But the bus is a total loss,” he said.

Emergency teams got to the scene fast, but the fire had already spread everywhere.

Officials are looking into what caused the fire.
