President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo commended the achievements of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government and stated that the New Patriotic Party is the best party that can bring development and prosperity to Ghanaians. In his speech after NPP’s parliamentary primaries in orphan constituencies held across the country, he expressed his confidence that the party can win the 2024 general elections.
President Akufo-Addo acknowledged the current challenges facing the country and stated that his party has a record of bringing progress and prosperity to all parts of the country. He also emphasized the need for unity within the party and under the leadership of the new presidential candidate, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, to break the eight in the 2024 elections.
The President congratulated the national, regional, constituency, electoral area and polling station officers, and the entire membership of the NPP for conducting free, fair, transparent, and credible primaries. He urged all the winners to show magnanimity in their celebrations and work hard to bring on board those who were not successful.
