WE ARE THE MOST PEACEFUL COUNTRY IN WEST AFRICA – VEEP TELLS CZECH REPLUBIC PRIME MINISTER
Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on Thursday November 9 welcomed to the Jubilee House, H.E. Petr Fiala, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic who is in the country for a two-day historic visit.
Prime Minister Fiala is the first Czech Prime Minister to visit Ghana, and his visit opens the door for the strengthening of existing cooperation between the two countries.
They held bilateral discussions on existing areas of cooperation such as: economic, agriculture, health, defence and security, as well as new areas we can explore, such as technology, merchanised agriculture and trade, for the benefit of the two countries.
Dr Bawumia indicated that Czech Republic has been a strategic partner to Ghana’s development.
He used the occasion to thank Prime Minister Fiala for his country’s support and cooperation.
“Ghana is an excellent place for doing business. We are the most peaceful country in West Africa and the second most peaceful country in Africa.
“It is crucial for anyone looking to invest in Africa to consider Ghana as the ideal destination for business,” he said.
