Ghanaian Travel Collective Aims to Put Ghana on the Global Map with Ambitious Journey from Accra to Paris, Dubai, and Cape Town
Wanderlust Ghana, a fearless travel collective, is gearing up for an epic 30,000km road trip adventure across 30 countries, starting on September 30. The journey, which will take three months to complete, aims to showcase Ghana’s rich culture and beauty to the world.
The team, led by CEO Kwabena Peprah, will embark on a thrilling journey from Accra to Paris, then Dubai, and finally, Cape Town, South Africa. The route will take them through diverse terrains, from the deserts of Mauritania to the skyscrapers of Dubai, and eventually down to the southern tip of Africa in Cape Town.
The upcoming trip promises to be just as exciting, with stops in countries like Côte d’Ivoire, Morocco, Spain, France, Turkey, Kenya, and many more. The Ghana Tourism Authority and the Ministry of Tourism are collaborating with Wanderlust on this ambitious project, which is expected to boost Ghana’s tourism.
As Akwasi Agyeman, CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority, noted, “This adventure will give Ghana mileage in terms of tourism, considering the various media stops they would have at the destinations in other countries.
