VIP Jeoun Transport Announces Nationwide Fare Increase Effective April 8

Passengers across Ghana are set to pay higher fares for road travel from Wednesday, April 8, 2026, following a nationwide adjustment by VIP Jeoun Transport.
The transport company says the increase is necessary to sustain operations amid rising costs within the sector, urging passengers to take note and plan their journeys accordingly.

Accra to Sunyani / Techiman – ₵200
Accra to Dormaa / Drobo – ₵220
Accra to Sampa – ₵230
Long-distance routes have also seen significant increases:

Accra to Yendi – ₵380
Accra to Bolgatanga – ₵410
Accra to Navrongo / Paga – ₵420
Accra to Bawku – ₵430
Accra to Kulungugu – ₵460

Management explained that the new pricing structure follows a review of operational costs, including fuel and maintenance, and appealed to customers for understanding.
