The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) has issued an important notice to WASSCE applicants seeking admission to its undergraduate and diploma programmes for the 2026/2027 academic year.
In a statement dated September 5, 2026, and signed by the Director of Academic Affairs, Anthony Afeadie, the university directed all existing applicants to log in to the UPSA admission portal to verify their application details, including full name, date of birth, WASSCE Index Number, and exam month and year.
Qualified applicants offered admission should expect to receive an SMS notification. Those who may not receive any SMS notification are advised to use their OSN (e-voucher 15-digit alphanumeric number) to check their admission status by logging on to the portal, entering the OSN, and downloading their admission letter and guidelines for fresh students.
Meanwhile, applications for admission to the university’s undergraduate and diploma programmes for the 2026/2027 academic year remain open. Interested applicants may purchase the Online Serial Number (e-voucher) at designated sales outlets, including Access Bank, Ecobank, GCB and the Post Office, or use the USSD code 8879# on all mobile networks or the Interpay shortcode 7898772# to apply for admission.
The deadline for application and closing of the application portal is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2026.
