Techiman Assemblies of God Credit Union Holds AGM, Urges Saving Culture

The Assemblies of God Cooperative Credit Union in Techiman has held its Annual General Meeting with a call on the public to develop the habit of saving money to secure their financial future.

Speaking at the meeting held at the Full Gospel Assemblies of God Church in Techiman on Sunday, August 2026, the Chairman for the Brong Ahafo Chapter of Cooperative Credit Unions and National First Vice Chairman of the Cooperative Credit Union Association, Dr Alfred Ohenenana Appiah, advised members to ensure prompt repayment of loans and avoid loan defaults to enable the institution to operate effectively.

He also encouraged members to acquire more shares in the credit union, explaining that increased shareholding will strengthen the financial base of the institution.

The Patron of the Assemblies of God Cooperative Credit Union and Pastor of Full Gospel Assemblies of God Church, Rev Akantara Anasco Abraham, commended the staff and management for their dedication and commitment towards the growth of the credit union.

Meanwhile, the newly elected Board Chairman of the credit union, Mr David Ngruba Dworbor, pledged to work hard with his team to uplift the image and improve the operations of the institution.
