Swedru All Blacks Shock Kotoko with Dramatic Comeback Win on Final Day

Asante Kotoko SC ended their 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign on a disappointing note after suffering a 2-1 home defeat to Swedru All Blacks at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Kotoko took the lead before halftime through a deflected effort that was later recorded as an own goal by Clement Tutu. However, Swedru All Blacks mounted an impressive second-half comeback with goals from Rudolf Mensah and William Danquah to secure all three points.

The Porcupine Warriors also missed a late penalty after captain Samba O’Neil failed to convert from the spot in the 85th minute.

The result leaves Kotoko in 10th place with 46 points, while Swedru All Blacks finished just behind them in 11th place with 45 points.

The defeat is expected to intensify discussions surrounding Kotoko’s disappointing season and the club’s search for a substantive head coach.
