Renowned UK-based Ghanaian gospel singer, Sonnie Badu, has made shocking revelations about the neglect he faced from his colleagues within the gospel fraternity after a devastating injury in 2023.
In an interview with Joy Prime, Badu expressed disappointment that none of his fellow gospel musicians reached out or visited him during his recovery. “Not even a single one checked up on me… That’s when I said even if I died, nobody cares; I have to rise up quickly.”
However, Badu was grateful to Nigerian Pastor Jerry Eze, Prophet Agyemang Prempeh, Apostle Amoako Atta, and Pastor Kingsley, who contacted him on social media.
The gospel star’s comments have sparked controversy, with many social media users questioning his motives. Some allege that Badu fabricated the story to promote his upcoming event.
