A 41-year-old Accounts Clerk of Klo-Agogo Senior High School, Saviour Attor, has been arrested by the police at Obawale in the Yilo Krobo Municipality for allegedly defiling a 15-year-old Junior High School student.
According to the police, the victim alleged that the suspect forcibly had sexual intercourse with her after sending her to purchase a sachet of water.
Following the allegation, Attor was arrested and subsequently handed over to the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) for further investigation.
In his cautioned statement to investigators, the suspect reportedly admitted having sexual intercourse with the victim at his residence.
The case remains under investigation, with the appropriate legal processes expected to follow.
