Shatta Wale has finally responded to his biological mother’s accusations of abandoning her for the past ten years.
Prior to Shatta’s response, his mother revealed in an emotional video that she had neither seen nor spoken to her famous son for the past decade. She stated that her health had deteriorated significantly, leaving her in urgent need of financial assistance, but she has no helper.
In response to the accusations, Shatta Wale expressed anger at his mother for airing their family disputes publicly. He stated that he is deeply disappointed in her for portraying him as a bad son in front of the public.
According to the self-styled dancehall king, he cannot understand why his mother criticized him to his uncles and other family members. He remarked, “I’m very disappointed in my mother for making those accusations against me publicly. She has damaged my reputation with my uncles and other family members, and she’s airing our private issues for public scrutiny. This is not how we handle family matters.”
Shatta Wale praised his late stepmother, Madam Stella Gasu, whom he once considered his best friend. He acknowledged her as a better mother figure than his biological mother, Madam Elsie.
According to Shatta Wale, Madam Stella played a crucial role in assisting him with childcare when she was alive. He also credited his late stepmother for facilitating the reconciliation between him and his father.
