Security Services Recruitment 2025 Opens Today: Police, Immigration, Fire, and Prisons Begin Nationwide Intake

The long-awaited 2025 recruitment exercise for Ghana’s four core internal security agencies—Ghana Police Service, Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and Ghana Prisons Service—officially opens today, Monday, November 17, 2025, at 12:00 noon.
Applications will run for one month, closing on Friday, December 19, 2025, through the revamped Centralised Services E-Recruitment Portal (C-SERP) at https://cserpgh.com.
This marks the first major recruitment drive under the Mahama administration and comes with enhanced safeguards following the tragic El-Wak Stadium stampede earlier this month.

Strict Warnings Against Fraud
The public notice issued jointly by the four services was unequivocal:
“There are NO middlemen in the recruitment selection process.
Be vigilant and do NOT pay any money to anyone promising to secure a slot.
The entire C-SERP process is FREE, FAIR and open to all qualified Ghanaians.”
Submitting forged certificates or false information will lead to automatic disqualification and prosecution.
Post-El-Wak Safety Measures
In response to the deadly stampede that claimed six lives during a previous recruitment exercise:
Physical screening centres will now be strictly capped at 1,000 applicants per day
Multiple centres per region are being activated
Digital pre-screening via C-SERP reduces physical crowds
Officials say these measures, combined with the fully online application system, will eliminate dangerous queues and ensure a safer, more orderly process.
Thousands of Ghanaian youth are expected to apply for what remains one of the most sought-after public-sector opportunities, offering job security, allowances, and career progression in uniform.
The portal goes live in less than four hours. Prospective applicants are urged to purchase vouchers early and carefully read all eligibility criteria on the official website before proceeding.
