Sad news from Bawku: 13-year-old boy murdered in cold blood
Tragedy has struck the town of Bawku once again, as a 13-year-old boy named Sherif was brutally killed while tending to his livestock near the old cattle market.
The incident occurred in the Singnatinga-Possum enclave, an area that has been plagued by violence and conflict. According to eyewitnesses, Sherif was attacked by unknown assailants who snapped his neck and stole his animals.
The motive behind the attack is still unknown, but it is believed to be linked to the ongoing territorial and ethnic disputes that have been ravaging the area.
