Prophet El-Bernard Reaffirms Prediction of Kennedy Agyapong’s Victory in NPP Primaries

Founder and General Overseer of Spiritlife Revival Ministries, Prophet Bernard El-Bernard Nelson, has reaffirmed his earlier prophecy that former Assin Central MP, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, will emerge victorious in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primaries scheduled for Saturday, January 31, 2026.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen, the cleric expressed strong confidence in the outcome of the contest, insisting that the results will clearly favour Mr. Agyapong by the close of polls.
According to Prophet El-Bernard, the outcome of the election has already been spiritually determined, adding that by 5:00pm on election day, Kennedy Agyapong’s camp would be confident of victory.
“There is nothing that can let me say I did not see it. I have seen it several times. I speak in definite terms because of what God has revealed to me. I know what I have seen,” he stated.
The NPP’s presidential primary is expected to be keenly contested, with five aspirants in the race:
former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, former NPP General Secretary Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, Abetifi MP Dr. Bryan Acheampong, Bosomtwe MP Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, and Kennedy Agyapong.
A total of 211,849 delegates are expected to cast their ballots at 333 polling centres across 276 constituencies nationwide, with polls opening at 7:00am and closing at 2:00pm.
Kennedy Agyapong, noted for his outspoken style and strong grassroots appeal, remains one of the most talked-about contenders. While supporters believe his boldness and nationwide visibility give him a competitive advantage, critics argue that party leadership requires a more conciliatory approach.
Meanwhile, a final predictive model released by Global Info Analytics on Friday, January 23, 2026, indicates that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia remains the frontrunner, citing the enduring “Bawumia Factor” as outweighing Kennedy Agyapong’s grassroots momentum.
