A philanthropist, Alhaji Sulley Yahaya of Juantoakrom, a sub-community of Asankrangwa in the Amenfi West Municipality, has completed a Junior High School classroom block for the community.
Residents of Juantoakrom previously had no JHS block, forcing pupils who completed basic school to walk about seven miles to access Junior High School education.
According to him, the situation touched his heart and motivated him to mobilise resources to construct the classroom block for the community.
He however said the existing Primary One to Primary Six school facility is also in poor condition.
He has therefore appealed to other philanthropists, organisations and stakeholders to support the community with a new primary school block to improve teaching and learning.
