The Paramount Chief of Anhwiaso Traditional Area and President of the National House of Chiefs, Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II, has fulfilled a promise he made to Queens Girls Senior High School by furnishing three bedrooms for teachers.
The rooms were constructed by one Elder Prince. The Atipemhene of Anhwiaso Traditional Area, Nana Kwadwo Bonyah, who led the delegation to present the items, said Ogyeahoho sent them to deliver mattresses, fridges, sets of sofas, wardrobes and an oven to furnish the rooms for the teachers.
Nana Ekyea Kwasi III, Abakomahemaa of Tanoso Praso, tasked the beneficiary teachers to make good use of the items while urging the students to study harder for a brighter future.
Theodora Osabo, Assistant Headmistress in charge of Administration at Queens Girls SHS, expressed sincere gratitude to Ogyeahoho on behalf of the school’s management. She further called on others to support the school with an assembly hall, dining hall and dormitory.
