No running away’ – Akufo-Addo urges ex-appointees to face accountability

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is making it clear that they’re committed to transparency and accountability.
Richard Ahiagbah, the Director of Communications, recently stated that former President Nana Akufo-Addo has directed his former appointees to be available for any accountability processes.
This comes as the country transitions into a new administration and there are calls for accountability from the public. Ahiagbah emphasized that the NPP has no history of running away from accountability and that they’ll deal with any issues head-on.
He also mentioned that the party’s priority is to prepare for the 2028 elections while ensuring that their members answer any questions about their time in office.
The NPP is confident that they’ve done their best and that history will judge their administration favorably.
