Nana Agradaa Preaches in Nsawam Prison, Shows ‘Modest Demeanor’ – Ex-Convict Evangelist Confirms

Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, is actively ministering to inmates at Nsawam Medium Security Prison, according to Evangelist Richard Nyarko, a former convict and ex-Head Pastor of the United Prisons Fellowship.

Speaking on Channel One TV’s Upside Down program on Sunday, December 7, 2025, Nyarko confirmed he saw Agradaa preaching during a visit to the prison on November 30.

“I saw Agradaa last Sunday and she is doing well. She was preaching to the inmates,” he said. “She appears modest and focused on her ministry.”

Nyarko clarified that his statement was not a plea for government intervention, but a recognition of her continued spiritual work behind bars.

“We are not campaigning for the government to do anything for her now, but we believe the Lord who allowed her to be there will, in His own time, grant her freedom,” he added.

Agradaa’s Legal Battle

Agradaa is currently appealing a 15-year jail sentence handed down on July 3, 2025, for charlatanic advertisement and defrauding by false pretence.

She maintains:

  • The trial was unfair
  • Evidence was insufficient
  • The sentence is excessive

Her legal team has filed an appeal at the Court of Appeal, arguing procedural flaws and lack of due process.
