Mzbel Breaks Silence on Fire Oja’s Arrest: “I Chose Lawful Approach for My Safety”

Ghanaian musician and entrepreneur Mzbel has opened up for the first time about her role in the arrest of social media personality Fire Oja, explaining that she reported him to police due to persistent “disturbing and unacceptable” behavior.

In a public statement, the “16 Years” hitmaker said the matter escalated beyond online banter, prompting her to seek official intervention rather than engage publicly or confront directly.

“I believed the situation had gone too far and needed proper handling through authorities. My intention was not drama, but to protect my safety and peace of mind,” Mzbel stated.

She urged fans and the public against premature judgments: “Parts of the issue are still under investigation—please respect the legal process.”

Fire Oja remains in custody, assisting police with inquiries.

The case has drawn widespread attention online, with many awaiting further details as investigations proceed. Mzbel’s measured response underscores her preference for legal resolution amid the controversy.
