Lawyer Kusi, legal counsel for Akosua Serwaa, has revealed that he and his wife have received several threats following his involvement in the ongoing Akosua Serwaa–Odo Bronii case.
Speaking on the matter, Lawyer Kusi said the threats began shortly after he took up the case and have intensified as public interest in the dispute continues to grow. He described the situation as deeply worrying, noting that the safety of his family has become a major concern.
Despite the threats, Lawyer Kusi stressed that he remains resolute and will not be intimidated into abandoning his professional responsibilities.
“As a lawyer, I am committed to defending my client within the confines of the law. These threats will not deter me from seeking justice,” he said.
He disclosed that the matter has been reported to the appropriate security authorities and that steps are being taken to ensure the safety of his wife and family.
Lawyer Kusi also appealed to the public to allow the legal process to run its course, cautioning that intimidation and threats undermine the rule of law and have no place in a democratic society.
The Akosua Serwaa–Odo Bronii case continues to draw widespread public attention, with many observers closely monitoring developments as the legal proceedings unfold.
