MY POST WAS FOR THE NEXT GENERATION ARTISTS WHO ARE READY TO MAKE MONEY AND NOT THE ALREADY ESTABLISHED ONES – SHATTA WALE

Ghanaian Afrobeats and said king of dancehall artistes, Shatta Wale in a social media post has called for cooperation and unity within the Ghanaian music business for prosperity sake.

He claimed that his message was intended more for the nation’s upcoming generation of artists than for the entertainment business.

He asked for coordinated measures to be made to ensure growth, citing a lack of unity and resources as the main reasons for the downturn.

In response to Shatta Wale’s message, a fan, however, urged the singer to avoid speaking to the business since he would face criticism.

He emphasized that his article was not intended for populist artists, but rather for artists who are focused on generating money for their friends and family.

“Am not doing it for them but I am sending a message to the next generation of artistes. I mean artistes that want to live the real life of a musician and will be able to feed their families and friends and promote their music in a more not the ones we have trying to please these motherfuckers,” he posted.

He implored his audience to read his posts with the aim of understanding the underlying message, not just interpreting it.

“Sometimes when I write something you guys must pay attention to the message and not who reads it to interpret,” he said.
