Mohammed Kudus to Miss Ghana Friendly Against Germany Through Injury

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Mohammed Kudus is set to miss Ghana’s upcoming international friendly against Germany after sustaining a thigh injury.
The 25-year-old was forced off in the first half of last weekend’s Premier League clash against Sunderland, with medical scans later confirming damage to both his tendon and quadriceps.
Speaking on Thursday, Tottenham manager Thomas Frank confirmed the extent of the injury, revealing that Kudus will be sidelined until after the March international break.
“Kudus is a bigger one, to the tendon and quad, and don’t expect him back until after the March international break,” Frank said.
Kudus is now expected to return in early April, meaning he will be available for only the final seven league matches of the season.
As a result, the midfielder is likely to be left out of Ghana’s squad for the March 30 friendly against Germany in Stuttgart.
His absence comes as a major blow for the Black Stars, who are using the match as key preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where Ghana have been drawn in Group L alongside England, Croatia, and Panama.
Ghana will also be without defender Mohammed Salisu, who has been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury, further compounding the team’s injury concerns.
