Manchester City Reach FA Cup Final After Comeback Win Over Southampton

Manchester City fought back from behind to defeat Southampton and secure a place in a record fourth consecutive FA Cup final, keeping their domestic treble hopes alive.

Managed by Pep Guardiola, City overcame an early scare after struggling to find rhythm in the opening stages, particularly with a heavily rotated squad that saw eight changes from their previous match.

Southampton initially thought they had taken the lead through Leo Scienza, but his goal was ruled out for offside, denying the Saints an early advantage. At the other end, City came close when Omar Marmoush tested goalkeeper Daniel Peretz, who made a crucial save.

Despite the slow start, City regrouped and mounted a comeback to edge past their opponents and book their spot in the final.

The victory keeps alive their ambitions of a domestic treble, having already secured the Carabao Cup this season. They will now return to Wembley on May 16, where they are set to face either Chelsea or Leeds United.

With their experience and form, Manchester City will head into the final as strong favourites to lift yet another trophy
