A 28-year-old man, Yaw Asamoah, was found dead in an abandoned mining pit in Abrense, near Atobease in Ghana’s Ashanti Region. The incident occurred on November 3, 2025, after Asamoah reportedly lost GHC1,000 during a visit to a commercial sex worker.
