Israeli Airstrikes Cause Widespread Destruction
Lebanon’s Health Minister, Firass Abiad, has announced a devastating death toll of 274, including 21 children, following Israeli airstrikes on Monday. This marks the deadliest daily toll in almost a year of cross-border conflicts.
According to Minister Abiad, the current count of casualties stands at:
– 274 dead, including 21 children and 39 women
– 1,024 individuals injured, receiving treatment in 27 hospitals
The recent escalation in violence has resulted in approximately 5,000 people wounded in less than a week, bringing the total count of wounded individuals to 10,000-11,000 since the outbreak of the Gaza war.
