Renowned Ghanaian musician Kwabena Kwabena has added his voice to the ongoing conversation surrounding the devastating accident in East Legon, calling for empathy and reflection.
In an interview on Adom TV, Kwabena Kwabena extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and emphasized the importance of compassion in times of tragedy.
The October 12, 2024, accident involving Bishop Salifu Amoako’s 16-year-old son claimed the lives of two young girls, sparking widespread discussion.
Kwabena Kwabena urged the public to learn valuable lessons from the incident, saying, “When you see a man fall, don’t laugh, learn.” He also stressed the need for stricter road safety laws, particularly regarding minors driving.
The musician expressed frustration with Ghana’s selective law enforcement, stating, “Our laws aren’t truly effective; they seem to only apply to the weak, the vulnerable, and the poor.”
