Kurt Okraku Set to Join CAF Executive Committee on March 12

Kurt Okraku, the President of the Ghana Football Association, is all set to join the CAF Executive Committee on March 12, 2025, during the organization’s elective Congress in Cairo, Egypt.

This Congress is a big deal, as it will feature important discussions and decisions about the future of African football, including the election of the CAF President, Executive Committee members, and African representatives to the FIFA Council for 2025-2029.

Okraku is running unopposed for the position, and he’ll serve on the Executive Committee for the 2025-2029 cycle. He’s not the only one, though – other candidates for the Executive Committee include Wallace John Karia of Tanzania, Liberia FA’s Mustapha Raji, and Algeria’s Sadi Walid, among others.
