Ghanaian music icon Kojo Antwi is set to sign copies of his memoir, Mr Music Man: The Journey, in New York City on Thursday, April 16, 2026.
The signing event will take place at Source of Knowledge Book Store in Newark from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, where fans, friends, and music lovers are expected to interact with the celebrated artiste.
The memoir was originally launched in Accra on February 13, 2026, and chronicles Kojo Antwi’s remarkable journey in music, from his early beginnings to becoming one of Africa’s most respected performers.
Popularly known as “Mr Music Man,” Kojo Antwi is currently in the United States following a special performance held on April 11, organised by the Kwahuman Association of New York in collaboration with the Kojo Antwi Foundation.
The event, dubbed “Celebrating the Music Man, Kojo Antwi,” brought together members of the Kwahu community in the diaspora, as well as fans from diverse backgrounds, to honour the legendary musician.
During the three-hour signing session, Kojo Antwi is expected to autograph hundreds of copies of his book and take photographs with attendees.
In a message shared on social media, the artiste invited fans to the event, expressing excitement about meeting them in person.
The memoir, co-authored by George Essiaw, offers insights into his life, including his early years in music, experiences with various bands, and the milestones that shaped his enduring career.
The Accra launch featured tributes and goodwill messages, including recognition of former President John Agyekum Kufuor, as well as commendations from business leaders on the lasting impact of Kojo Antwi’s music.
