Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania to Co-Host 2025 TotalEnergies CAF CHAN
CAF Announces Qualification Schedule and Format

Nairobi, Kenya – The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially announced Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania as co-hosts of the 2025 TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN).
Tournament Details:
– Dates: February 1-28, 2025
– Qualifiers: October 25-27, November 1-3, 2024 (first round); December 20-22, 27-29, 2024 (second round)
– Host Stadiums and Training Venues: To be confirmed
Qualification Format:
– 19 teams to participate
– WAFU A, WAFU B, UNAF, UNIFFAC, COSAFA zones: 3 teams each
– CECAFA zone (including hosts): 4 teams (automatic qualification)
