Jaman South MP Cuts Sod for Four-Unit Classroom Block at Jepekrom School

The Member of Parliament for Jaman South, Colonel Kwadwo Damoah, has cut sod for the construction of a four-unit classroom block at the T.I. Alhamadiya School in Jepekrom in the Jaman South District.

Speaking to the media after the ceremony, Hon. Damoah reaffirmed his commitment to improving the lives of the people of Jaman South. He said fulfilling promises made to constituents is essential to gaining their trust and confidence.

He added that he is working hard to make the New Patriotic Party (NPP) attractive to the people of Ghana as the party prepares for the 2028 general elections.

The Omanhene of Jepekrom, Nana Aturu Nkonkonkyia II, expressed gratitude to the MP for responding to the community’s concerns. According to him, the school has existed for more than 46 years, but its infrastructure had deteriorated significantly.

Nana Aturu Nkonkonkyia II said he contacted the MP about the poor condition of the school, and within three weeks, the MP responded by fulfilling his promise to provide the community with a four-unit classroom block.

The Headmaster of the T.I. Alhamadiya School, Mr Ofori Sylvester, said he was surprised and excited when he heard that the MP was coming to cut sod for the construction of the new classroom block.

Mr Ofori Sylvester noted that the school still requires additional infrastructure and appealed to the MP to remember the school whenever opportunities arise to support educational institutions.

He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Colonel Kwadwo Damoah and the traditional leaders of Jepekrom for their support towards improving education in the community.
