Ghana FA Signs Partnership Deal with 5-Star Energy Drink

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially partnered with 5-Star Energy Drink, adding a significant sponsorship to the Association’s portfolio.

5-Star Energy Drink is now the Official Beverage Partner of the GFA.

This partnership, set for an initial period of four years, includes the annual provision of both products and cash to the GFA.

The GFA has secured its second major partnership in just under two months with 5-Star Energy Drink, following Lele’s recent announcement as the Official Meal Partner.

This sponsorship showcases the GFA’s proactive approach in attracting corporate support to foster football development in Ghana.

GFA President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We are thrilled to welcome 5-Star Energy Drink to our sponsor family. This partnership reflects corporate Ghana’s increasing confidence in our brand and our ongoing efforts to advance football development in the nation.”

He further remarked, “The backing from 5-Star Energy Drink will undoubtedly invigorate our players and teams, enhancing their performance both on and off the field. We anticipate a productive and mutually beneficial partnership.”

Radiating with joy during the partnership’s launch, attended by GFA Vice President Mark Addo, Executive Council Member Eugene Noel Nobel, and Black Stars deputy coach John Paintsil, the GFA President emphasized his confidence that the collaboration with 5-Star Energy Drink would elevate the energy levels of the Black Stars, Black Queens, and other national teams.

In a nod to the aspirations of Ghanaian football fans for stellar performances by the Black Stars, President Simeon-Okraku remarked, “We earnestly hope and believe that our collaboration with 5-Star Energy Drink will lead to our qualification for a fifth World Cup and clinching our fifth Africa Cup, a coveted achievement.”

Rabih Bourji, General Manager of 5-Star Energy Drink, echoed their excitement, stating, “We are thrilled to partner with the Ghana Football Association. Football holds a significant place in our culture, and supporting the GFA aligns with our dedication to promoting sports and healthy lifestyles. We anticipate this partnership will generate synergies and deliver substantial value to both parties.”
