GES Opens Online Postings for Teachers Returning from Study Leave with Pay – Deadline November 7

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the availability of online posting forms for qualified teachers returning from study leave with pay, urging prompt completion to facilitate seamless reintegration.
In a circular dated November 4, 2025, addressed to all Regional Directors of Education, GES Director-General Dr. Eric Nkansah stated that the 2025 posting form is now accessible via the portal at https://bit.ly/STUDYLEAVERETURN2025. Eligible staff must register and submit details before the deadline on Friday, November 7, 2025.

The process, part of GES’s annual procedure, supports teachers completing approved programs and ensures equitable distribution to address staffing shortages in underserved areas. “This online system streamlines placements and aligns with our commitment to professional development,” Nkansah said.
Teachers must provide proof of completion, including certificates and transcripts, for verification. Postings will prioritize needs-based assignments, with confirmations issued by mid-November.
This follows the 2024/2025 study leave approvals, benefiting over 1,500 educators.
