GES Announces 2025 School Placements, Warns Against Unauthorized Admissions

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released the 2025 Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) results, marking the start of the admission process for the upcoming academic year.

In a statement signed by Acting Deputy Director-General Dr. Munawaru Issahaque, GES directed Regional Directors of Education to inform District Directors and school heads about the placement results. Schools must strictly follow the official CSSPS placement list for admissions, and no school is allowed to admit students outside this list without written approval from GES.

Students assigned to schools are expected to report on October 18, 2025. School heads are instructed to ensure smooth registration in line with provided guidelines. GES warned that any violations, such as unauthorized admissions, will lead to administrative penalties.

Regional and District Directors are tasked with overseeing compliance to ensure a fair and transparent process. GES stressed the importance of cooperation from all stakeholders to make the 2025 admission process successful.
