Fuel Prices to Drop from November 1 – COMAC

Fuel prices at the pump are expected to fall significantly from Saturday, November 1, 2025, according to the latest outlook from the Chamber of Oil Marketing Companies (COMAC).
The projected reductions are:
Petrol: Down by up to 5.21%, from GH¢13.93 to around GH¢12.92 per litre.
Diesel: A decline of 6.03% to 8.13%, bringing the price to approximately GH¢13.10 per litre from GH¢14.56.
LPG: Expected to drop by up to 6.66%, reducing the cost to about GH¢13.60 per kilogram.
COMAC attributes the cuts to the cedi’s recent appreciation and lower international crude oil prices. The local currency strengthened by 11.22% against the dollar in the October 16 pricing window, while global crude fell to $62.82 per barrel — a 6.49% drop.
Some oil marketing companies may implement the new prices as early as this weekend, while others will adjust after clearing existing stock.
The reduction is expected to ease transport costs and help moderate inflation in the coming weeks.
