Kwara State High Court Delivers Verdict on Notorious Robbery Case
Illorin, Kwara State – In a landmark judgment, Justice Haleemah Salman of the Kwara State High Court has sentenced five individuals to death by hanging for their involvement in the infamous Offa bank robbery of April 2018.
The convicted suspects – Ayoade Akinnibosun, Azeez Salahudeen, Niyi Ogundiran, Ibikunle Ogunleye, and Adeola Abraham – were found guilty of illegal possession of firearms, armed robbery, and culpable homicide.
Quote: “The five of you shall be hanged on your neck until you are dead to serve as a lesson to others,” Justice Salman ruled.
