Fire Outbreak at Madina Market in Accra

A serious fire outbreak raging at the Madina Market, one of Accra’s busiest commercial hubs, prompting an immediate emergency response from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS).
Firefighters from the Madina and Legon Fire Stations were swiftly deployed after the blaze broke out earlier today.
Thick smoke has engulfed parts of the area, forcing traders and shoppers to flee as firefighters battle the flames.
The extent of damage is yet to be determined, and no casualties have been officially confirmed at this stage.
Authorities say efforts are ongoing to bring the situation under full control, while security personnel have cordoned off sections of the market to enable emergency operations.
