Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson will present the 2026 Budget Statement and Economic Policy to Parliament on Thursday, November 13, 2025, Majority Leader Mahama Ayariga announced.
The presentation, required under Article 179 of the 1992 Constitution, will detail the government’s fiscal roadmap and policy priorities for the upcoming year, focusing on economic growth and stability.
Ayariga, addressing Parliament during the Business Statement for the week ending November 14, also noted that approximately 300 referrals are pending across 23 parliamentary committees. Five ministers are scheduled to answer 28 parliamentary questions during the week.
He called on committees to fast-track their work ahead of the budget debate.
