Eight Teams Qualify for Women’s AFCON 2026 Quarter-Finals

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed the eight quarter-finalists for the TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2026.

The teams that have advanced to the last eight are Ivory Coast, Algeria, hosts Morocco, South Africa, Cameroon, Nigeria, Malawi and Ghana.

The Black Queens of Ghana successfully booked their place in the knockout stage, joining a strong field that includes defending champions and several traditional powerhouses of women’s football on the continent.

The quarter-finals of the tournament, being staged in Morocco, will determine which four sides progress to the semi-finals as the competition intensifies.
