The Electricity Company of Ghana has announced a scheduled power outage in parts of Accra as it undertakes maintenance works to improve electricity supply.
The exercise is set to take place today, Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Doblo
Hebron
Medie
Sarpeiman
Satellite
Low Cost
SIC Quarters
Abortia Junction
Akwamufie Township
Petroleum Depot
Mami Water
Small London
Volta River Estate
Fihankra and surrounding communities
The ECG explained that the maintenance exercise is necessary to enhance reliable and efficient power supply across these areas.
The company also apologised for the inconvenience caused and urged residents to take the necessary precautions during the outage period.
