Ebo Noah Remanded Again: Court Orders Psychiatric Evaluation at Pantang Hospital

Evans Eshun, the 33-year-old man widely known as Ebo Noah, has been remanded into police custody for another two weeks after appearing in court today.
The judge also ruled that, before his next court date, he must be taken to Pantang Psychiatric Hospital for a full psychiatric assessment to evaluate his mental condition.
This development follows his initial arrest on December 31, 2025, for spreading alarming false prophecies about a world-ending flood, which caused significant public fear and panic.
Ebo Noah’s viral claims included predictions of non-stop rain for three years starting on Christmas Day, leading many to believe the end of the world was near.
The court’s decision to order a mental health check indicates possible concerns about his state of mind during the alleged offences.
He remains in custody as police continue their investigations into charges related to publishing false news and causing public alarm. The case has been adjourned for two weeks.
